Indie Shop Fall 2016 Interviews - Sea Lore Polish

Hello Loves!!

I am so excited to show you this next project I've been working on for the last two weeks. In preparation for the upcoming Indie Shop on November 5th in Torrance California, I've interviewed all the vendors that will be there. From today until the event, I will be posting an interview a day so that you can get to know each and every one of the faces behind the brands.

Now.... TO THE INTERVIEW!!!

To kick off the interviews I present to you Sea Lore Polish!

What is your name and where are you from?

My name is Jamie Lohr and I'm from Ontario, California

When did you start Sea Lore Polish?

I started Sea Lore Polish back in June of 2012.

 What is the meaning behind Sea Lore Polish and how did you come up with your brand name?

I love the beach, so when I was coming up with the brand name, I knew it had to have something to do with the sea. My brand name is also a play off my complete name. My mermaid logo is in the shape of a "J" (Jamie), my middle name starts with a "C" (Sea), and my last name is Lohr (Lore).

That's awesome and I would have never guessed that. What do you love about what you do?

 I love how creative it allows me to be. When going to college I dreamed about being a cosmetic chemist, working in a makeup lab helping someone create beautiful products, and I ended up being able to create polish for myself instead.

 What are some of your hobbies or favorite pastimes?

I love to knit ruffle scarves, create hair bows, jewelry, and Minnie Mouse ears. I also love going to Disneyland and the beach as well, those are my happy places.

 I am a big Disney fan so I totally understand Disneyland being a happy place. Will this be your first event like Indie Shop and if not what do you like about doing events like this?

This will be my 6th event, apart from the several pop up shops here in the SoCal area. I absolutely love doing events because I get to meet customers face to face. I love chatting and creating friendships with everyone.

What will you be bringing to Indie Shop and will you be offering an event exclusive for attendees?

I'll be bringing a brand new fall collection, an event limited edition polish, as well as my current and retired collections. There will be lots and lots to choose from.

Is there anything else that you would like people to know about you or Sea Lore Polish?

I just love getting to know everyone, and I can't wait to hug and squeeze all my friends. If you are new to Sea Lore Polish, please stop by, I'd love to chat and get to know each and every one of you!
