Spring Indie Shop is right around the corner! Only 11 days left!! Let the countdown begin.
In
preparation for the upcoming Indie Shop on May 13th in
Torrance California, I've interviewed all the vendors that will be
there. I will be posting interviews so that
you can get to know each and every one of the faces behind the
brands.
Now.... TO THE INTERVIEW!!!
Today I present to you Sea Lore Polish!
What is your name and where are you from?
My name is Jamie Lohr and I live in Ontario, California.
When did you start Sea Lore Polish?
I
started Sea Lore Polish in June 2012.
What is meaning behind Sea Lore Polish and how did you come up with your brand name?
I love the beach, so when I was coming up with my brand name, I knew it
had to have something to do with the sea. My brand name is also a play
off my complete name: my mermaid logo is in the shape of a "J"(Jamie),
my middle name starts with a "C" (Sea) and my last name is Lohr (Lore).
What do you love about what you do?
I love how creative it allows me to be. When going to college I dreamed
about being a cosmetic chemist, working in a makeup lab helping someone
create beautiful products, and I ended up being able to create polish
for myself instead!
What are your favorite finishes or colors to work with?
I really love micro holographic glitters, they're so sparkly and hard to
take my eyes off of! Blue is my favorite color, so I'm a sucker for
blues in every collection!
Will
this be your first event like Indie Shop and if not what do you like
about doing events like this?
This will be my 7th event(plus several pop up shops here in the SoCal
area), and I absolutely love doing events because I get to meet
customers face to face! I love chatting and creating friendships with
everyone!
How long does it take to prepare for events like Indie Shop?
It's takes months of planning and execution, from just brainstorming names, to creating and bottling the finished polishes.
The event theme is Candy Shop, what's your favorite candy? Will you have any candy themed products?
My favorite candy is peanut M&Ms! I'll definitely have some candy themed polishes!
What will you be bringing to Indie Shop and will you be offering an event exclusive for attendees?
I'll be bringing a new candy themed collection, and one or two brand new
LEs. I'll also have my two Triton's Daughters Collections, Paris Sight
Sea-ing Collection, Tide Pool Party Collection and a few retired shades!
Is there anything else that you would like people to know about you or Sea Lore Polish?
I just love getting to know everyone, and I can't wait to hug and squeeze all my friends. If you are new to Sea Lore, please stop by, I'd love to chat and get to know each and every one of you!
