It's almost time for what will be a wicked event.
Halloween. Friday the 13th. Tim Burton.
In order to get you ready for the wicked fun event today, I was lucky enough to interview the co-host of Indie Shop.
Let's welcome....
What is your name and where are you from?
My
name is Krys Resendez and I'm from San Antonio, Texas.
You're the creator of Indie Shop. What made you want to start a nail polish convention?
Yes! This is our first appearance at TIS! We are really looking forward to meeting everyone, we cannot wait to go!
The event is on Friday the 13th. Are you superstitious?
Superstitious, no, but definitely into lore the seasonal festivities.
The
official theme for the event is Tim Burton/Halloween. Will you have any
Event Exclusives or Limited Editions for this event that follows the
theme?
We will have some Special Event Releases, and they will most definitely
be Halloween themed. Our VIP offering is Exclusive to the bag. We will also have Halloween themed items all over in the booth, from Bath and Body to Wax Melts!
One of the themes for this event is Tim Burton. What is your favorite Tim Burton movie?
Edward Scissorhands has to be my favorite Burton movie. It's sad, and
romantic. The character of Edward is so troubled, sweet and horribly
awkward. It also shows how we treat each other just because we seem
different, both the good and the bad.
The other theme for this event is Halloween. Do you like Halloween and Why?
Halloween is easily my favorite time of year, it's fun, it's spooky, and it's dark. Decorating is one of my favorite things about it. We hope to bring some of that spirit to our booth.
