Indie Shop Summer 2017 Interviews- Fanchromatic Nails

The count down continues to Summer Indie Shop!

There is only 6 days left until the event!!!!

I have another interview for you beautiful souls today of an amazing returning vendor.

As you know, in preparation for the upcoming Indie Shop on July 29th in San Francisco California, I interviewed all the vendors that will be there. I have been posting interviews so that you can get to know each and every one of the faces behind the brands as well as what they'll be bringing and some fun facts about them.

Now.... TO THE INTERVIEW!! 

Today I present to you Fanchromatic Nails! 

What is your name and where are you from?

Hi! I'm Lynae Zebest and I live right here in San Francisco! I grew up traveling around the world, but am mostly from Northern California & the Caribbean.

Will this be your first Indie Shop? If yes, what are you excited about or looking forward to? If not, what do you like about vending at Indie Shop?

This is my second! I really love the awesome crowd of people that the Indie Shop attracts. I really like the chill vibe and I like getting to know other indie makers too.

Will you have Event Exclusives or LEs for the event? If yes, what are they and are they ocean or mermaid themed?

I will have an event exclusive named Make A Splash--the color is not quite finalized yet. I will also be releasing a limited edition or two that day--but they will be surprises!

 

The theme for the event is mermaids. Are you bringing other products that are ocean or mermaid themed? (Besides Exclusives or LEs)

One of our most popular colors is called Drowned God, after the god of the Ironborn people in Game of Thrones. His palace is deep under the sea and he is attended by a coterie of mermaids

 

If you had the chance to turn into a mermaid, would you and why? 

No, I honestly think the deep ocean is really scary and I don't want to go there. It's dark and cold! I have been scuba diving and decided I'd prefer to just stay in the shallow water. 

 

Do you love the ocean and if yes, what about the ocean do you like?

I do love the ocean but I also respect and fear it! In my times living in the Bahamas I lived through several hurricanes, encountered big sharks and barracudas...and also had totally paradise-like times gathering seashells and floating in the warm placid ocean. Sadly, San Francisco's beaches are almost always cold, foggy and no fun for swimming.

Is there anything else that you would like people to know about you or Fanchromatric Nails?

I'm really excited to recently have been releasing more thermals--please ask about them at my booth if we don't point them out right away!
