It's that time of the year again. Spring Indie Shop is right around the corner!
In preparation for the upcoming Indie Shop on May 13th in
Torrance California, I've interviewed all the vendors that will be
there. From today until the event, I will be posting interviews so that you can get to know each and every one of the faces behind the
brands.
Now.... TO THE INTERVIEW!!!
Today I present to you Calm Your Tips!
What is your name and where are you from?
My name is Sara and I live in Corona, California.
When did you start Calm Your Tips?
I
started Nails Redesigned on April 2, 2014.
What is meaning behind Calm Your Tips and how did you come up with your brand name?
Calm Your Tips used to be Nails Redesigned. I rebranded to Calm Your
Tips because I know carry a much larger selection of products than just
nail vinyls. The name Calm Your Tips came from my best friend, and I
love her for suggesting it.
What do you love about what you do?
I love seeing what people create with my products. It blows my mind how creative some people are.
Will
this be your first event like Indie Shop and if not what do you like
about doing events like this?
This is my 4th time at Indie Shop! I love seeing all my favorite makers
and drooling over their polish in person. I also love meeting customers
and fellow nail polish addicts.
How long does it take to prepare for events like Indie Shop?
Months, honestly. I've been working on stuff for this show since January.
The event theme is Candy Shop, what's your favorite candy? Will you have any candy themed products?
I love chocolate and sour candy. I'll have some cute sweets themed
stamping plates, an exclusive candy shop vinyl sheet, and all the
scented items will be candy themed as well.
What will you be bringing to Indie Shop and will you be offering an event exclusive for attendees?
I'll have an assortment of vinyls, stamping plates, clear stampers,
various nail jewels and charms, my new quick dry top coat and liquid
latex, cuticle oil, and acetone additive. I'll also have some delicious
smelling wax melts. Maybe a couple of other surprises as well!
Is there anything else that you would like people to know about you or Calm Your Tips?
I put a lot of love into everything I make. Everything is tested before it goes up to be sold, and I'm super proud of everything I do sell. I don't currently have a website, but you can find me on Facebook, just search Calm Your Tips! That's where you can find information about how to purchase things and what I'm up to.
